Job DescriptionTeamHealth has an opportunity for emergency medicine physician to work at Putnam Community Medical Center; there are full-time and part-time opportunities available. The annual emergency department (ED) volume 37,500 with 10% admission rate. Physicians average 1.7 patients per hour, and there is daily advanced practice clinician (APC) coverage. Good variety of clinical cases, physicians use Meditech. Combination of 8/9/12-hour shifts. Candidates must be board certified in family medicine or internal medicine with a minimum of 5 years recent full-time emergency medicine experience OR board certified/board prepared in emergency medicine.
