Hematologist Oncologist Position - Altamonte Springs / Oviedo, Florida

Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to help expand an already established practice with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in Altamonte Springs. The practice is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join our group that has
remained in the community for more than 20 years.
This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs
There would also be time spent in our newly renovated outpatient clinic in Oviedo, Florida.
The practice consists of four physicians and multiple APPs
Infusion, Radiation and Surgical services available at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and surrounding hospitals
Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials, (including Phase 1) and tumor boards (daily)
The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumor patients.
Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends
Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc..
Extended network of 7 other medical oncology sites in and surrounding Orlando

Requirements of the position include:
Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and or Medical Oncology
Experience with practice building in a new market is preferred
