Chief of Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics UF, Jacksonville College of Medicine , in partnership with M3 Executive Search , is conducting a national search for a highly collaborative physician leader to serve as Chief of Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics . This role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with strong leadership and pediatric developmental and behavioral expertise and the vision and energy to lead an established pediatric neurodevelopmental division. The University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges medicine, nursing, and pharmacy located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The colleges 16 clinical science departments house more than 440 faculty members and 380 residents and fellows. The UF College of Medicine Jacksonville is affiliated with UF Health in Jacksonville, a health system comprised of two hospitals the 603-bed UF Health Jacksonville and 92-bed UF Health North, and more than 60 primary and specialty care practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. The division of neurodevelopmental pediatrics brings together teams of specialists including therapists, counselors, psychologists, and physicians to work with children at risk for learning, behavioral or developmental delays. The division evaluates and treats children with delays that may be overcome with early treatment, as well as lifelong conditions that may be alleviated with ongoing support and appropriate interventions. Highlights include: Integrated multidisciplinary division on site and in place; State funded learning disability center; Early Intervention Programs nothing comparable w/in 500 miles Full Assessment Team: 2 school psychologist; 2 speech & language therapist; 4 fulltime autism specialists Fulltime MBA manages all grant submissions, contracts, and deliverables Access to UF Center for Data Solutions and epidemiologists w/ no cost for research support The Division Chief for Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics will join and lead a division of fellowship trained developmental pediatricians who are supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary team. The Director will have an outstanding clinical reputation and a distinguished career including a leadership role within a multifaceted neurodevelopmental division. A successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: A MD/DO degree, board eligible or board certified in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
