The Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board certified/eligible EP Cardiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank on an academic track. This well established, nationally and internationally recognized Electrophysiology program will allow the incoming physician to work closely with the Cardiovascular Division and Electrophysiology Section leadership to support and expand the University's clinical and academic missions.
Practice Highlights:
The program is active in standard and complex procedural care.The successful candidate will perform a wide range of procedural work including all device implants (including S-ICD, Micra), ablation (including standard SVT's, atrial fibrillation, PVC, and VT), and Left Atrial Appendage occlusionWork in a multidisciplinary team of 28 Cardiologists (3 Electrophysiologists) and 18 Advanced Practice Providers (3.5 EP dedicated)Strong referral baseFully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).H1B Visa acceptedQualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and/or fellowship-training program.Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine and CardiologyLicensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA.Benefits Highlights
