BayCare Medical Group
is a physician-led medical group seeking a dedicated and compassionate board certified/board eligible
Endocrinologist
to join our established team of three Endocrinologists, at Morton Plant Hospital, in Clearwater, FL.
The successful candidate will provide expert care for patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.The office is located near the hospital campus and consists of various multi-specialty BayCare Medical Group practices, offering a great ability and access to services.Key Responsibilities:Inpatient consults and rounding, and outpatient clinicShared 1:4 call schedule, based out of Morton Plant HospitalPerform comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients presenting with endocrine-related symptoms and conditions.Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine, patient preferences, and clinical judgment.Prescribe and manage medications, hormone replacement therapies, and other therapeutic interventions to address hormonal imbalances and improve patient outcomes.Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up appointments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize efficacy and minimize side effects.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, to provide coordinated and integrated care.Educate patients and their families about their endocrine disorders, treatment options, and strategies for self-management and disease prevention.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and educational activities to advance the field of endocrinology and enhance patient care.Qualifications:Position requires:
Board Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.Medical degree from an accredited institution.Florida Medical LicenseProven clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.Strong collaborative abilities and a commitment to teamwork.Dedication to continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based practice.
