Pine Island School District is seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the educational experience and well-being of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students referred for assessment and provide interpretation of results.Collaborate with school-based teams to develop and implement individualized plans for students with hearing impairments, offering necessary support and consultation.Assist in the selection, fitting, and maintenance of hearing aids and other assistive devices while monitoring students' ongoing hearing status and assistive technology needs.Qualifications:
Possess a valid license or certification in Audiology with expertise in pediatric populations, especially students with hearing impairments.Demonstrate proficiency in audiometric assessment techniques and interpretation of results.
Note:
This is a part-time position with a 0.1 FTE or approximately 20 days per year. Exact scheduling details will be discussed with the successful candidate.
