Overview

Job PurposeManages software life cycle product planning activities and high-quality delivery of ICE Mortgage Technology's Loss Mitigation / Collections products, enhancements, and releases to market. Defines roadmap to meet market requirements in support of product strategy. Participates in the management of product profitability, pricing strategies, client satisfaction, and sales success rate. Provides oversight and prioritization in the analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

ResponsibilitiesManages backlog by ensuring changes in market, business priorities including integration needs, and technology advancements are reflected. Presents status updates as neededDemonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achievedPrepares and product backlog delivery plans. Identifies risks and challenges, opportunities and growth strategies, business integration needs, and retirement plansPrepares and presents product roadmap reviews as well as providing product's general strategic direction. Acts as Voice of the customer to articulate value propositionUses knowledge of systems and industry requirements to identify development needs or systems modificationsManages delivery and release schedule in alignment with financial goals and company's processesUnderstands product's profit and loss statement. May be responsible for revenue and profitability of assigned productsProvides content for product roadmaps, ensures timely delivery, and provides business reasons for any changes/revisions made to roadmapsMonitors the work of team, providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interfaces with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as neededEngages and interacts with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups, and requirements gathering sessions, as neededPractices open and honest communications with all stakeholders. Acts as servant leader to the organization, may mentor guide and advise on the work of othersActs as product launch manager when appropriate for new products or rollouts of major releases.Collaborates with senior management to provide content for market messages, sales collateral, and as needed RFPs (request for proposal)Participates in the completion of business scope documents, defines, and records user personas for individual productsOversees the delivery of continuous and effective services and ensures completion within budget and in accordance with requirements contractual or otherManages technical and business work items and may be responsible for oversight of vendors and

subcontractorsLeads teams in the delivery of outsourced solutions to the client. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function as neededIdentifies areas where continuous improvement can be applied, implements the change, and measures the level of improvementMay manage vendor relationships key to product deliveryCollaborates with vendor support managers for oversight and maintenance of all secondary and support vendor relationships as neededCollaborates across the organization to identify and coordinate product dependenciesCoordinates and facilitates pilot activities acting as primary contact with client, securing pilot agreement, and monitoring progressDetermines success criteria and recommends "go / no go" decisionMay act as escalation point for client issues that require product change resolutionMay participate in the determination and approval of service level agreements (SLAs) related to productsWorks closely with development teams to review enhancement requests for strategic value and align resources to high priority projectPresents product information and industry thought leadership to external audiences in webinars and client conferences as neededProvides presentations to clients during business reviews, prospect briefings, and internal group meetingsAbility to travel up to 10%Performs other related duties as assignedKnowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, computer science, product marketing, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.Requires 7+ years of product management, business, technical analysis, or consulting experienceWorking experience with Mortgage Servicing Collections productsMortgage, Financial or SaaS domain or other equivalent experiencePreferredFamiliarity with ICE Mortgage Technology products supportedExperience in Azure DevOpsKnowledge of the tools, techniques and principals used in Lean-Agile framework/developmentRequires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision, and executive presence effective presentation and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of financial services industry and associated products or B2B software productsKnowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development) with emphasis on Lean-Agile developmentProficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplinesAbility to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasksAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional mannerRelationship management skills, understanding and focusing on stakeholder needs, establishing credibility, and building positive, professional, relationships with all stakeholdersTeam skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, internally and externallyRequires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and must be resourcefulAnalytical, problem solving skillsProven ability to manage multiple large and/or complex initiativesRequires leadership and negotiation skillsFlexibility, versatility, dependabilityBroad understanding of modern technical development frameworks and strategies (i.e.: API First,Design Thinking, Mobile First, BDD, TDD)ScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week
