VA fosters excellence through mentorship, leadership, and educational programs, giving physicians the tools, they need to serve Veterans best.Outstanding General Surgery opportunity at the Louis A Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center.Major Duties/Responsibilities:Responsibilities include performing general surgical operations, outpatient ambulatory surgical procedures, outpatient, and inpatient general surgery consultations.Participation in peer review and quality improvement activities.Committee membership.Qualified CandidatesDegree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicineCurrent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.Board Certification in SurgeryPrevious General Surgery Experience is requiredRecruitment Incentive:
