Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide services to the detention adult & juvenile patient population. Outpatient clinic is open Monday thru Friday from 9 to 9.This position is for 8 hours/week (on Tuesdays) 0800-1630. Requires 24/7 on-call, however, it is rarely utilized after hours. Medication management of detaineesDiagnosing and treating new detainee arrivals for acute and chronic conditionsPrescribing medications and developing plans of careEducating participants on disease and lifestyle choicesReview of all Health Assessments and determination of further treatment needed if applicableQualifications:
Wyoming Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) unrestricted licenseTwo years of current experienceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS)
