We are looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our team in Whittier, CA. We are a busy, but friendly, practice that provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs, cats, and other small animals. Our ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled veterinarian who is passionate about providing the best possible care for our patients.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animalsDiagnosing and treating illnesses and injuriesProviding preventive care, such as vaccinations and parasite controlSurgery and other proceduresCommunicating with clients about their pets' healthQualifications for the position include:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degreeCurrent license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of CaliforniaAt least 2 years of experience as a veterinarianExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
