A health services network in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nephrologist for a promising opportunity at one of their clinics in Rockland County.Responsibilities:
The Nephrologist will:Assess patients with kidney-related issuesGather medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the nature and severity of kidney problemsDevelop individualized treatment plansOversee the dialysis process, adjust treatment parameters, and address complications associated with dialysisDiagnose and treat electrolyte imbalances and acid-base disorders that can arise from kidney dysfunctionEducate patients about their kidney conditions, treatment options, and the importance of compliance with medical recommendationsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safetyPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
