Ensure the accuracy of the treatment plan as developed by the physician and physics team.Perform and monitor Radiation Oncology treatments and simulations in compliance with established protocolsCoordinate delivery of radiation planning and radiation treatment delivery areas.Communicate with providers and other radiation team members to provide quality, efficient and accurate patient care.Observe the clinical progress of the radiation oncology patient, using clinical decision-making skills to recognize and communicate any signs requiring further treatment planning intervention or procedures.Manage patient load and department needs effectively and efficiently.Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Completion of a two-year accredited Radiation Therapy programRegistered by the American Registry or Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy
ARRT certification or eligible from an accredited program
BLS certification required prior to start
