Senior Federal Project Manager • GBA Builders
GBA Builders, LLC currently offers construction management services to clients in the Life Sciences Industry. We work closely with our parent company, GBA, Inc. in a design-build relationship to add value to our clients.
Responsibilities:Be part of a Design-Build or CM@Risk team to develop projects and see them through from preconstruction to closeoutInteract with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the projectEstimating assistance during preconstruction and during bidding phasesReview project estimates with operations team (field and office) to ensure completeness and accuracyQuality control reviews of design documents and field reviewsSchedule development, evaluations and updatesEstablish project budgets and forecast budgets to project completionProject bidding and buyout • both negotiated and hard bid projectsWriting subcontract scopes of work and initiating subcontractsSafety enforcement when on project siteRequirements:Degree in Construction Science and Management10+ total years of project management experiencePartnership approach to working with architects and engineersMS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skillsExcellent communication and problem solving skillsDemonstrated ability to be a team playerSelf-motivation and time management skills
