Job Title: C# .NET Developer

Location: New York (Hybrid 3 days in office every week)

Duration: Full Time

Job Description

Key Skills: C#/.Net, SQL Server, UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting, Financial Services domain of Portfolio accounting.

Required Skills :Strong programming experience with 1 or more of these languages C/C++, Java, C#/.NetDemonstrated ability in SQL-based RDBMS (SQL Server, Informix/DB2 etc) & strong experience in writing complex SQL Queries, stored procs/functions etc. ( Informix will be strong plus )Experience in UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting is must have.Experience with 1 or more Job scheduling tools (Tidal, Autosys etc.)Financial Services domain knowledge (preferred Capital Markets)Strong understanding of portfolio accounting business practices and applicationsProven experience as an Application Developer with a portfolio of projects (10 Years +)Solid understanding, proficiency, and experience with Azure DevOps, GIT etc.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologyStrong communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Skills

Experience with IBM Informix is an advantage.Experience with cloud platforms and services is a plus (e.g. Snowflake)Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Experience in real time messaging (IBM MQ) and ETL tools (Informtica).Familiarity with Agile development methodologiesKey Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, robust, and secure applications using both legacy and modern technology stacks.Collaborate with business and technology teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Maintain and improve the functionality of existing software and applications.
