**$3,000 - 1 year sign on bonus for new RN graduates**** Up to $30,000sign on bonus option for experienced RNs **POSITION PURPOSEThe ER Nurse, under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director, is responsible for the nursing care of the patients in the emergency department and is responsible for the direction of patient care. The RN delivers care based on patient needs appropriate for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adults, and geriatric patients.He/she demonstrates an interest in patient centered approach to total nursing care.Demonstrates cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. Join us if you are one.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.Diploma or transcripts must be provided upon hire.Experience: Hospital or Pre-Hospital experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates:Current Tennessee or Compact State Registered Nurse license required.BLS certification required upon hire (Red Cross or AHA). ACLS and PALS certifications within 3 months of assignment to the Emergency Department, if not current. ShiftEmergency Department (Nights)
