Accelerated Development Program – Analytics and Data Science
Trane Technologies Accelerated Development Programs (ADPs) provide recent college graduates with challenging assignments, leadership training and valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders. Through rotations and experiences in multiple geographic and business locations, you will be able to build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career with Trane Technologies. These assignments are strategically chosen to ensure your continuous learning and personal development.
Analytics and Data Science has a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days per week in one of our many locations across North America. Locations are determined by the needs of the business.
Our Accelerated Development Program in Analytics and Data Science consists of these rotations:
· Enterprise IT (6 months, focused on data, technology, analytics, and machine learning)
· Data Science (12 months)
· Analytics (12 months)
ADP participants will develop a solid foundation in analytics, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. They will gain skills in technology stack, data exploration & pipeline development, creation of visualizations & reporting to provide insights to our businesses. Additionally, ADPs will grow in the areas of predictive model development & deployment from data extraction. Assignments are strategically chosen to ensure continuous learning and personal development.
The program can include up to two physical moves. Relocation assistance is provided for new work locations where the distance is at least 50 miles.
Successful Candidate’s Profile
Function specific responsibilities will vary based on the assignment. A successful candidate for the Accelerated Development Program will exhibit the following:
BS/BA in Technical or Analytics related field such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science or similar with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0, completed prior to start date.
Demonstrated leadership skills: minimum of two examples such as: School club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects.
Work Experience: Minimum of one degree-related internship or six months of related work experience
Views problems as opportunities and can adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances.
Eagerly and proactively seek new information, skills, and experiences, capitalizing on learning opportunities.
Works effectively with others to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment.
Motivated to leverage key learnings and experiences to grow your own career while contributing to the growth of Trane Technologies.
Demonstrated ability to leverage analytical tools to extract and analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights to the business.
Proficient in utilizing analytical tools to understand problems followed by recommending and executing the best approach to address the needs of internal customers.
Remain geographically flexible both during and after completion of the program.
U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Salary Information
Base Pay: $79,000
