Lead DevOps Engineer
As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you'll be integral to the architecture, building, design, monitoring, and support of our cloud infrastructure across multiple datacenters and public clouds. You'll use your deep technical expertise and work closely with leadership to shape our product and architectural strategy.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor team members, acting as the main contact for support infrastructure. Architect, implement, and support infrastructure as code solutions for the company's cloud-hosted products. Ensure service stability by monitoring trends, performance metrics, and capacity. Diagnose system/software failures and develop preventative solutions. Create clear processes for daily operations and cross-department communications. Document and implement configuration standards for data-center systems. Collaborate with the Technology team on infrastructure availability, upgrades, and enhancements. Skills/Qualifications:
5+ years in deploying/managing large-scale, customer-facing Linux environments. 5+ years in designing, configuring, scaling, and supporting 24x7x365 hosted SaaS environments. Expertise in modern monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Experience with hybrid infrastructures and on-premise data centers. 5+ years with IaC tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform). Experience with modern infrastructure services (Kubernetes, load balancers). 5+ years administering Solaris, Linux, & Windows platforms. Experience with enterprise storage platforms and MySQL administration. Strong working knowledge of datacenter network topologies and protocols. Hands-on leadership with a proactive problem-solving approach.
