We have an exciting opportunity for a SAP EAM Functional Analyst
who can
work remotely from one of the following states: AR, ME, OK, TX, FL, SC, MO, TN, LA, or KS.
POSITION SUMMARY:
SAP EAM Functional Analysts are responsible for the design, implementation, and support for Summit's SAP ecosystem. Though SAP EAM Functional Analysts typically have a field of concentration, our Senior Analysts may work with a wide variety of SAP technologies. Ideal candidates have a broad range of experience with SAP S/4HANA, IS-U, SAP Cloud products, and third-party solutions integrated with SAP. Functional Experience in integrations with FI/CA, FI/CO, MM is a preferred. Additionally, Functional Analysts serve as mentors to other Analysts, lead projects and initiatives, and partner with the Senior Manager of SAP to assess technology needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Engages in full life cycle stages of project execution in the EAM area delivering on all phases of SAP EAM implementations and support.Interacts with Team Members on a routine basis to gather requirements and develop design plans for various business scenarios and map out best-fit SAP EAM solutions.Identifies and assists in the development of new services and capabilities to address business owner needs in the SAP EAM segment.Adopt new and innovative business solutions within established and emerging technical architectures (e.g., SAP-HANA, FSM, and mobility).Closely Work with other areas (SAP ISU, MM, PM, PS) and take ownership of the deliverables.Lead oversight of the integrated system design enabling EAM processes across an SAP landscape with GIS and scheduling solutions.Ultimately responsible for the integrated design, implementation, and delivery of the architected solution, created by working with the EAM, FI, MM, PM teams to build complete end-to-end solutions.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or Engineering is preferred or combination of education and equivalent experience. ERP or SAP certifications desired.Broad knowledge of EAM and 2 or more SAP modules including but not limited to FI, CO, MM, SAP IS-U, BPC/SAC, Service Cloud, and Cloud Analytics.SAP ERP Greenfield or Brownfield implementation experience.5+ years' experience with enterprise-level ERP configuration and support.5+ years' experience in SAP Plant Maintenance, Asset Management, Customer Service, and integration with other EAM applications.Experience in Data migration and conversion.2+ years' experience with large scale SAP S/4HANA design, implementation, and support.Experience deploying SAP in the cloud preferably on Azure or AWS a plus.Experience or knowledge with SAP Private Cloud Edition (PCE) is a plus.Track record of moving on-premises technology stacks to the cloud a plus.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
SAP EAM functional experience within the Utilities sector.Deep knowledge of utility business processes.Broad domain knowledge of SAP functional applications, with emphasis on EAM components, and has proven track record of delivering results.Experience with overseeing and approving the end-to-end process design, configuration, testing, and ultimate conversions of the SAP functions included within EAM and all points of integration across the solution landscape.Hands-on configuration experience in SAP FICO and integration experience to related SAP modules.Broad knowledge of EAM processes with common SAP integration points.Friendly and effective communication skills are a must.Influencer resulting in a trusted advisor relationship between IT and the business.Robust presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and priorities.Not afraid to fail, but always has a plan to remediate a failure.Attention to detail, especially with contracts, statement of work creation, and pricing negotiation.Capable of developing short and long-term plans for areas of responsibility. Owns both successes and failures with humility and integrity.
