Company DescriptionJob DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities:As a Retail National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key retail accounts at a national level. You will drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the retail industry, exceptional communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.Account Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with national retail accountsUnderstand each account's unique needs, goals, and challenges

Develop account-specific strategies to drive sales and profitabilitySales Strategy:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plansIdentify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on themMonitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the retail landscape

Revenue Growth:

Set sales targets and work to achieve or exceed themNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitabilityAnalyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth

Product Knowledge:

Stay up to date on company products and industry trendsTrain retail staff on product features and benefits

Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact between the company and national retail accountsCommunicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiativesPrepare and deliver compelling sales presentations

Forecasting and Reporting:

Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to managementTrack and report on key performance metrics

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related fieldProven experience in retail sales or account management, preferably at a national levelStrong negotiation and communication skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trendsProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office SuiteWillingness to travel as neededPowerBI & Data analyticsPreferred Skills:Knowledge of the retail industry and market dynamicsExceptional problem-solving abilitiesStrong presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamOther:The ideal candidate lives within close proximity to a large airport due to travel requirements of approximately 50%+Additional Information
