Who You AreWe are looking for a highly driven, networked, organized, and communicative individual with strong business development experience in the digital or mobile advertising industry, to occupy theBusiness Development Directorrole. This person will be responsible and accountable for sourcing and onboarding new DSPs and Demand partners to Smaato's omnichannel ad exchange.

This position can be occupied in New York City in a hybrid set-up or filled remotely in one of the following states:

California,

Connecticut

, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland,

Minnesota

, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.

What You Will DoIdentify, qualify, pitch, and close new business with buyers (DSP) in line with our core strengths & capabilitiesWork with the leadership team to define, achieve, and exceed revenue and new business goalsDevelop an omnichannel sales strategy that drives accelerated business growthContinuously prospecting for new business using your existing network of relationships and creating new relationships (we need to see your network during the interview process)Work closely with the Marketing organization to shape the go-to-market (GTM) narrative and be an expert at articulating the story internally and externallyManage an entire sales cycle from inception to closure to up-sell including prospecting, discovery, evaluation, proposal, justification, close, and onboarding with Sales Engineering & Account ManagementCollaborate with other team members in Account Management, Sales Engineering, and Marketing, and beyond and exceed customer expectationsEstablish yourself as a subject matter expert in mobile, CTV, and in-app programmatic buying trends across the ad tech and digital ecosystemParticipate in industry events and assist in developing Smaato's market presencePrepare pitch materials as needed, both independently and within existing support processesExceed quarterly and annual revenue goalsWhat You Will Bring

5+ years of experience in selling or closing new businesses in Programmatic AdvertisingExperience selling CTV and mobile solutions to DSPs, agencies, programmatic buyersExisting relationships with mobile media companies at the VP sales level, VP/Director, Ad Ops, and comfortable with running C-level conversationsStrong knowledge & familiarity with Internet advertising models, ad optimization, audience trends, and technologiesSelf-motivated, independent, high-performing individual, with the ability to learn and become productive extremely fastCustomer-centric, consultative sales professional who can quickly understand their target customers' market, business & challengesA professional who isn't scared of change and is able to adapt quickly to a constantly changing competitive landscapeAn enthusiast about marketing who can think strategically and follow through tactically, technically, creatively, and in collaboration with their team membersExceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and writtenProven willingness and ability to prospect aggressivelySuperb relationship-building skills that can develop credibility with executives and demonstrable business acumenProficient in Excel and PowerPointB.A or B.S is a must - MBA preferredWhat We Offer

The OTE salary range for this position is USD 170k-235k per annum. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.#LI-Remote
