We offer a hybrid (remote/onsite) work environment that will allow you to continue working with the flexibility that they have grown accustomed to over the past year, while also continuing to provide onsite service to our fantastic clients. There is local travel throughout Orange County area only.The ideal Managing Director focuses on quality of life and understands the importance of work life balance, providing an exceptional environment for teams and puts people first. Our clients are all in the Los Angeles area.Responsibilities:

Current Orange County area resident, with existing relationships and a large local business network. Ability to leverage existing

local relationships and contacts to develop business engagementsOversee all Orange County based SOX compliance projects, first year SOX compliance, entity level controls, risk assessment preparation, fraud assessments, planning scope evaluation, process testing, aggregation and assessment of operating and design deficiencies and documentation of process information flowsEnsure that our people and teams come first and that our exceptional culture continues to grow our people, providing opportunities for advancement for all team membersLead, develop, mentor and train teamsRecommend internal control solutions that balance client resource constraints with the need to mitigate riskOversee successful project completion by prioritizing director, manager and senior tasksMaintain and build strong, collaborative client relationshipsUse local company knowledge to participate in go-to-market teams for practice development activities (we do not have sales goals, we take a collaborate, consultative and relationship based approach to clients)Negotiatethe scope of the work, bill rates and budgets for recurring projects at existing clientsQualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Finance or relatedCIA and CISA certifications preferred (CPA is a 'want' not a 'must')Minimum of 12 years in public accounting/advisory experience with emphasis on risk and compliance consulting related to Sarbanes-OxleyExceptional people, project and client management skills - we have built our outstanding culture with enthusiastic people who possess an equal mix of IQ and EQClear and concise written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt communication and responses as needed based upon various situationsAbility to translate complex issues into simple and easy to understand termsInnovative thinker with strong analytical skills, sound interpretation of complex subject matter, ability to generate meaningful insights and develop pragmatic solutionsAble to delegate responsibility to coach others in order to develop capabilitiesExperience resolving business conflicts and using situations as learning and development opportunitiesAdaptable and able to manage unexpected changes in timelines, deadlines and scope of workPay and Benefits:
