Each employee will demonstrate our core values and difference by advocating for people through a member-focused culture, an enthusiastic employee environment, and purposeful action within our communities.This Branch Manager in our St. Cloud branch is responsible for overseeing all branch operations and staff in building meaningful relationships with members and providing an extraordinary member experience. This position is accountable for helping the credit union become a recognized community leader through business development and community involvement, representing SCFCU in a positive and professional manner. The manager will foster a positive work environment where employees are encouraged and motivated to achieve their potential and be successful.Key Responsibilities:Lead the branch team toward our vision through core values, member relationship building, and fostering an enthusiastic employee environment.Make meaningful connections with members by assisting with opening accounts, consumer lending, problem resolution, recommendation of products and services, cross-selling opportunities.Represent the branch appropriately in relationships with members, vendors, and community groups. Actively develop and maintain community involvement to meet business plan goals.Hire, direct, and develop branch personnel. Lead by example. Administer ongoing performance discussions and evaluations. Allocate staff resources to meet member and operational needs across the branch network.Monitor branch operations to ensure they are in compliance with credit union policies and procedures.Actively participate and communicate with leadership team.Performance Measurements:To lead a team toward our vision through core values and a superior member experience.To maintain a cohesive, highly trained, and enthusiastic staff that provides extraordinary service to members in a positive and professional manner.To provide knowledgeable, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and employees.To develop and maintain business partner relationships within the community and coordinate branch participation in community activities.To effectively evaluate the efficiency of the branch and develop recommendations to meet branch growth plans.To promote a sales culture in the branch by leading by example. Coach and develop employees to identify cross-selling opportunities.To actively participate on the leadership team and keep leaders informed of key operating issues affecting the branch.To report any suspicious activity, as outlined in the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), to immediate supervisor or the credit union's designated BSA officer.Qualifications:Experience: Two years to five years of similar or related experience.Education: (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3)Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
