About the RoleThe Team Leader Software Engineering role blends leadership responsibilities with senior software development tasks. While prior leadership experience is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. This position offers a pathway for career growth, with the potential to advance to a Manager Software Engineering role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a dynamic team of software development professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Cultivate a positive and high-performance company culture that fosters innovation and collaboration.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth.
Design, develop, and deploy secure, maintainable, and efficient software products and systems.
Enhance, upgrade, and optimize existing software solutions for continuous improvement.
Contribute to the uphold of high software quality through exhaustive requirements gathering, testing, and collaborative code reviews.
Experience and Skills Required5+ years of professional experience as a Front End and/or Back End developerPrevious experience in a leadership role is a plus, but not mandatoryHands on experience with either or both groups of software development technologies:Back End:
Java/JEE and the Spring EcosystemFront End:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React/AngularStrong understanding of Object Oriented Design and Design patternsAbility to leverage modern software architecture, design patterns, and solutionsKnowledge and experience with relational databases, ORMsExcellent understanding of the CI/CD methodologyExperience with Jenkins and GitGood command of the English languageStrong communication and collaboration skills
