Our work depends on a Virtualization Engineer joining our team to support Government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD . As a Virtualization Engineer supporting the Government, you will be responsible for physical/virtual platforms, server build deployments, server virtualization, hyperconverged platforms, etc.Responsibilities+ Designs and builds virtual environment service models including Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service.+ Identifies, designs, and implements process improvements for the virtualization of and distribution of applications: automating manual processes, optimizing delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.+ Designs, implements, and maintains VMWare vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN.+ Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.+ Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.+ Develops system architecture and system design documentation.+ Interacts with the Government regarding technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.+ Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.+ Qualifications+ BS and 6 years of experience+ Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.+ 8570CAT IAT II certification+ Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM+ Proficiency in configuring and optimizing virtual machines, storage, and networking+ Knowledge with configuration of virtual switches and VLANs+ VMware Certified Professional certificationBluehawk, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action /EOE Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity EmployerID2024-2560Job LocationUS-VA-Sterling
