Join us.**Job Description****AECOM** is seeking a **Project Manager - Utilities** to be based in **Sacramento, California.****JOB SUMMARY:**Under the general direction of the Deputy Director Third Parties and the Utilities – Project Manager City/County coordinates utility work between the client, Design Builder, PCM teams, and third-party utilities/railroads with an emphasis on City/County coordination. Participate in utility, railroad, and City/County issue resolution, prepare status reports, develop and maintain project tracking systems for issues and resolutions, and address the utility, railroad, and City/County agency needs promptly.**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Coordinate with the Authority, Design Builder, PCM teams, on third-party utilities relocations involving Cities/Counties, attend meetings, review project documents, report on discovered utility/railroad/City/County issues, and monitor progress.+ Report on discovered City/County/utility/railroad issues and strategize solutions to resolve issues.+ Prepare status reports, and maintain tracking log for issues and resolutions+ prepare technical correspondence and complete comprehensive reports; analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action; and established project goals and objectives.+ Develops, builds, and maintains a positive and productive relationship with City/County agencies related to third-party utility relocations for the client.+ Works with client, PCM, and the design-builder to establish priorities, monitor progress and ensure compliance with clients goals and requirements while ensuring compliance with various City/County requirements.**Qualifications****MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**+ BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**+ A degree in Engineering, Business, or Law and experience in the utility/railroad field.+ Experience in working with Cities/Counties with an emphasis on utility relocations in local jurisdictions (utilities in franchise, encroachment permits, etc.).+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to track large data sets, and the ability to illustrate, analyze and convey those data sets effectively.+ Railways coordination experience.+ Experience in developing and reviewing alternative route studies.+ Experience reviewing utility/railroad designs to ensure compliance with City/County standards.+ Knowledge of the Caltrans Utility Relocation Manual, Federal Statutes, and California State Statutes.+ Maintain good communication skills and working relationships with third-party agencies, management, consultants, private sector contractors, subcontractors, and their associations.+ Identify potential land rights conflicts that could create delays for the project.+ A general understanding of land survey principles, and the ability to read and plot legal descriptions.+ Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), and the ability to speak knowledgeably with other consultants, stakeholders, other governmental agencies, and individual citizens.+ Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project, Power BI, scheduling software, and SharePoint.**Additional Information**+ Travel may be required for this position.+ Sponsorship is not available for this position+ Relocation is available for this position.+ Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $190,000.\#LI-EM1Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
