Your day-to-day work will include:

This position supports the Office of Assistant Secretary of the Army and Financial Management & Comptroller, Army General Fund Audit Sustainment. The Business Systems Analyst will be a part of the Army's financial statement auditability initiatives to assist in a broad range of financial management services to support the audit and remediation of the Army's General Fund Financial Statement Audit (GFFSA). We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support audit remediation activities for the Enterprise Business System-Convergence (EBS-C) team.

Provide subject matter expertise regarding financial audit issues to assist with the development of requirements for the future state EBS-C environment, that will result in auditable business system processes.

Identify weaknesses and recommend process improvements to Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) environment.

Understanding of the audit issues identified within Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) that were issued by the Army's Independent Public Accountant (IPA) ahead of EBS-C business processes.

The ability to mitigate audit risks within the EBS-C environment.

Understanding of the audit issues identified within Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) that were issued by the Army's Independent Public Accountant (IPA).

Provide expertise and guidance to Army commands concerning the execution of assigned audit response functions.

Review business process documentation to gain an understanding of the existing process within the client's environment to provide recommendations to the client.

Experience Requirements:

6 years of experience with federal financial management.

Previous Enterprise Business System experience required.

Previous Army experience preferred.

Master's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management

Waiverable/Substitutable:

Bachelor's degree and one of the following certifications: CDFM, CGFM, CICA, PMP (No waiver required for bachelor's degree and one of these certs)

Clearance Requirements:

DoD Secret - Must have an active clearance for initial consideration.
