The Customer Support Specialist provides excellent customer service to dealers and/or consumers who contact Cars.com via phone, email, chat and text, with a focus on first contact resolution. This position requires that all interactions with customers are resolved in a prompt, professional and personable manner.

Responsibilities Include

Develop an expertise in Cars.com services and products and the initiative to take an active role in sharing this knowledge with customersAchieve individual and team service level goalsTrack and document all customer inquiries and resolutions in SalesForce.comIdentify and escalate necessary customer inquiries and issues to Tier 2 Support, Product and Technical Support teamsAssist with various tasks and inquiries from our customers including dealers and/or consumers and internal customersPerform other related duties, as appropriate to further the success of the Customer Support Team and/or Operations Department

SUPPORT'S CURRENT SHIFTS (all in Central Time Zone)

7am-3:30 pm M-F

8am- 4:30 pm M-F or 4 week days and SAT

9am- 5:30 pm M-F

10:30 am- 7pm M-F

This will be the shift for around a three month period. Shift bids are hosted on a quarterly basis. The team will submit their top 3 choices and we take into account their preference, tenure, performance and business need. While a desired shift is never guaranteed we do try to work with everyone to the best that we can.

Required Skills

Required Experience

Prior customer service experience or service industries experience preferredCollege degree preferred or minimum of one-year work experience required

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position which is not inclusive of bonuses, benefits or other forms of compensation that the position may be eligible for. If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience. Salary Range

$35,600 — $41,800 USD
