The Team

At Staked we combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, fault-tolerant staking node infrastructure for 40+ blockchains.

DevOps Engineering at Staked is the heart of the operation. We combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, fault-tolerant staking node infrastructure. Staked uses a variety of tools including Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Prometheus and Grafana for system orchestration and monitoring.

The Opportunity

Manage creation, maintenance, and improvement of core “Infrastructure As Code” supporting production systemsSupport the design and enhancement of automation processes to scale and evolve systems for improved reliability and velocityAid in the management of containerized applications within the data infrastructure using Kubernetes, ensuring efficient deployment, scaling, and orchestrationParticipate in measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health of core infrastructure componentsWork closely with the BlockOps and senior team members to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of Staking ValidatorsSupport sustainable incident response practices and participate in blameless post-mortemsCollaborate with senior team members and other teamsAssist in implementing effective incident response procedures and contribute to on-call rotationsTroubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly to minimize downtime and impact

Skills you should HODL

BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics)Minimum of 2+ years of experience using KubernetesMinimum of 2+ years of experience with best practices, and management in AWS or GCPProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaExperience with UNIX power tools (bash, grep, etc)Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and GrafanaInterest in crypto and blockchain technology or relevant experience requiredAbility to work EST/CST timezone
