Directly supporting the Chief Engineer and Class Desk The candidate is responsible for performing critical program management, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and provides recommendations to ensure program success. In addition, the Program Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements:Duties/responsibilities include:Provide day-to-day support to the Chief Engineer and Class DeskManage Risk for five (5) platforms within the PMADevelop working knowledge of various NAWC SWP processesTrack Risk/Issues realized within the PMAMaintain and update PMA hazard tracking databaseReview and revise SSRA and HAR acceptance letter packagesRoute and track SSRA and HAR acceptance letter packages through executive signatureMaintain platform-specific task status trackers and routine meeting minutesCreating, reviewing, and updating program related briefsDrafting and updating briefing products for safety events
e.g. SSWGs and Platform Safety Review
Drafting and updating the PMA safety call trees and e-mail distributions, based on PMA inputs or requestsExperience Requirements:
At least 10 years of experience in program management, technical or business analysisAt least three (3) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components developmentDesired Experience:
Knowledge of NAVAIR risk management processDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills, including good written communication skills and Technical.Able to facilitate and manage meetings.Able to work both independently and collaboratively.Microsoft Lists and Power AppsAFSAS RMI ToolProficient with MS Office Suite

Proficient with Adobe AcrobatEducation Requirements:
BS or BA degreeAllowable substitutions
An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experienceSix (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree
