Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:Support the development and configuration of ServiceNow scoped and custom applications in response to the mission critical needs of our customersAssist in the identification, creation, and execution of test cases for ServiceNow and other software platforms including the use of the Automated Test Framework functionalityAssist the team and our clients in the delivery model and supporting ServiceNow initiatives focused on business modernization supporting Department of StateDesign and deliver effective business and operating models that enable scoped and custom applications within ServiceNowImprove customer experience by delivering a cohesive and effective set of solutions through a clear strategy and data-driven delivery modelProactively learn new concepts and technologies in the event analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectivesBe comfortable interacting with senior management, which involves influencing significant matters along with a consistent team-focused message on directionAbility to drive and lead conversations in regard to overall objectives with both current and future goals and technologiesA true thought leader willing to both learn, implement, and educate clients on design and changes needed to move forward and expand current ServiceNow ecosystemsForward thinking individual that has a balance of practical hands-on technical experience but is also capable of accurately and convincingly championing organization-changing ServiceNow deliverables.Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand and document business and technical requirementsDesign and develop / configure workflows, forms, scripts and underlying logic using SCRUM / Agile methodologiesOffer technical solutions to address requirements, evaluate alternate solutions, and perform analysis to determine technical courses of actionAssist and perform quality assurance driving the design, creation, testing, and delivery of technical functionality individually and with the broader teamSupport the creation of technical architecture, design and user guide documentationWork with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis productsContribute to the development of IT-related technical processes reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvementCreate estimations on effort required to produce ServiceNow functionalityAssist with identifying, building, and executing strategic and tactical ServiceNow capabilities through scoped and custom applications that align with our customers' missions and program goalsAttend, participate, and occasionally lead Scrum meetingsSupport sprint demonstrations for customers as neededTranslate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the business analysts, scrum master, and product ownerMust be able to work across multiple operational and technical disciplines enabling organizational growth, innovation, and effectivenessAssist with defining and creating future visions and identified areas of opportunity, thus delivering value across people, processes, technology and informationAssist with and/or drive key client deliverables, while ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scopeSeek innovative and creative solutions to complex technical/business problems within a logical, rigorous, and analytical frameworkIdentify where improvements and pain-points lie and develop a strategy focused on inserting the correct and maintainable technologiesAssist with ServiceNow portfolio of high-value opportunities with tactical delivery through alignment of vision, mission, goals and objectivesContribute to the continual improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of customer needs and requirementsWork in a Scrum-based, Agile development process that is light on documentation and meetings and heavy on codingStrong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field7+ years of experience in developing scoped and/or custom applications within ServiceNowDemonstrated expertise across the full stack of Web technologies - Java, JavaScript, Angular.js, React, HTML and CSSDemonstrated expertise with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Web Services, etc.) and working in a SaaS environmentStrong proficiency in building scalable, modular applications that grow with customers' missions, to include highly performant UIs leveraging widgets and widget-to-widget interactionsDemonstrated ability to identify and learn new technologies quicklyPrefer ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)Prefer Service Certified Application Developer (CAD)Proven experience supporting scoped and custom application development in ServiceNowActive listening skills, respecting others' point of view and takes ownership of contributing the required input while demonstrating strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, and presentational)Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity Proven team player and team builderStrong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work effortsAbility to maintain current ServiceNow/industry certifications, while obtaining additional certifications where neededExcellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test, to integration to production deploymentExcellent collaboration skills and can effectively works in a team environmentExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skillsExperience generating technical documents (both collaboratively and independently) and able to socialize and educate members on a cross-functional teamStrong communication and leadership skills; able to communicate effectively with a diverse audience; comfortable working with C-level executivesComfortable acting as a liaison between business and technical teams in order to drive solutionsAble to comprehend new concepts, ask pertinent questions, execute and document ideas and concepts with minimal day-to-day directionAble to stay on task and on schedule while adhering to non-flexible deadlinesMust have an active Secret Clearance or above

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
