As a member of the company’s information technology team, the Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for development, testing, and deployment of technology components. The position will participate in requirement specifications with the business, and will contribute to the overall design and implementation of the evolving enterprise Salesforce solutions.

The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for delivery, provide guidance to more junior software engineers and provide guidance related to best practices.Essential Functions:

Deliver innovative solutions that provide value to both internal and external end usersConsult / partner with the business on current software and data prioritiesDocument, calculate ROI and communicate proposed technology solutionsParticipate and lead in architecture and design discussionsFollow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followedComply and provide guidance with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology and governance strategiesUtilize skills that span across disciplines and comfortably play different roles in more than just one areaWorking experience with Aura, LWC, APEX, Salesforce API and data structuresPivot easily within a constantly changing Agile environment and are comfortable with a high degree of changeFamiliar with source code, version management, and code deployment standardsWork hand and hand with the Dev/Ops team to solidify and enhance our CI/CD pipelinesContribute to and modify automated test suiteTroubleshoot software issues, data accuracy and performance issuesDevelop, maintain, monitor, and support technology solutionsPromote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSite’s culture and valuesWork on projects as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Responsibilities may require occasional evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supportedAbility to thrive in a hybrid work environment that consists of at least two days per week (including Tuesdays and Wednesdays for in-person team collaboration) in a downtown Denver officeStrong communication skills, including the ability to communicate at technical and business levels and to interact with people from all organizational levelsAbility to analyze requirements, retrieve source data, and present accurate results in a timely mannerStrong understanding and ability to apply best practices for gathering and documenting complete and detailed requirementsKnowledge on different integration patternsProven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertivenessKnowledge on various asynchronous capabilities and its use casesUnderstanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, and experience CloudsUnderstanding of systems architecture and ability to craft scalable solutionsStrong ability to manually test and document workEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology or related studies highly preferredAt least seven years of IT experience with a minimum of five years hands-on Salesforce development including:Salesforce DX and DevOpsSalesforce Integration API (REST API, Pub/Sub API)Building Aura and LWC componentsSLDS and passion for UX/UISalesforce customization, security controls, creating profiles, roles, users, record types, page layouts and email servicesSFDC administrative tools such as managing users, data management, domain management, generating reports, dashboards, communication templates, tasks and events is requiredApex triggers on customized objects, writing Apex classes, Apex controllers and test classesCreating custom objects, custom tabs, flows, custom fields, picklist values, role- based page layouts, custom reports and report extractions to various formatsMulesoft Anypoint and SQL Server preferredSQL and SOQLExperience delivering in a variety of development frameworks (Scrum, Waterfall, Iterative, Kanban, etc.)Preferred Salesforce certifications:Salesforce Platform App BuilderJavaScript Developer ISalesforce Platform Developer ISalesforce Platform Developer II (PDII)Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the job’s essential functions.
