As a

Financial Operations Data Analyst , you will be an integral part of our Community Solar Team by performing thorough analysis and review of large data sets for various community solar projects, preparing high quality complex reporting, interpreting and visualizing data, enabling data-driven decision making and optimizing financial operations.Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the timely and accurate processing of utility data and energy production reporting on an ongoing basis.Generate and reconcile monthly project reporting, properly documenting discrepancies for vendors and internal stakeholdersAnalyze financial and production data and trends, providing insights to help optimize projects and processesDevelop and improve upon existing complex data analytic models and toolsMonitor key performance indicators related to community solar projectsSupport regulatory compliance efforts by generating reports and documentation as required to customers and agenciesSupport the customer care team by providing monthly, annual and ad hoc reporting on customer savings, usage, spend, etc.Collaborate with other internal teams, vendors and utility companies to understand data needs and trends, ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data and provide analytical supportStay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and solar energy to continuously enhance analytical capabilities and drive innovation.Contribute to special financial projects as assigned.What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a data analyst or similar role, preferably in the renewable energy or utilities sector.Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Power BI and PythonDemonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with Alteryx is a plusStrong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to a changing environment, including personal flexibility in day-to-day work.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamHighly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.Experience working with sensitive and personally identifiable information.Positive attitude, passion for renewable energy.Bonus Opportunity
