Founded in 2023 and backed by Soma Capital, TestParty has customers and employees in major cities across the world, including Boston, Paris, New York, and San Francisco.Position DescriptionJoin TestParty as a Software Engineer to develop and enhance our AI-driven accessibility compliance platform. You'll be instrumental in building tools for automated accessibility testing and remediation, leveraging machine learning, and creating industry-leading technologies.We are looking for a mid- to senior-level developer to design, grow, and maintain our accessibility code remediation products on web and mobile.You will be responsible for turning Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) into automated scans and fixes to keep our our clients up-to-date on the latest accessibility standards. The day-to-day tasks include writing software in multiple languages (Typescript, React, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, SQL), troubleshoot across multiple large pipelines, and learning at hyper-speed both in and outside of your current domain. Because we are rapidly growing, we expect you to be a fast learner.While the role is primarily located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, there is flexibility for working remotely some of the time.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain accessibility testing and remediation tools.Create AI-driven solutions for WCAG compliance.Engage in continuous learning and adapt to new technologies.Work closely with Fortune 1000 clients to understand and solve accessibility challenges.QualificationsProficiency in Typescript and React; (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, SQL are a plus)Familiarity with abstract syntax trees (ASTs)Experience with CI/CD methodologies, using relevant tools (CircleCI, Jenkins, Git, etc.)Experience with deploying at least one cloud provider at scale (AWS/GCP/Azure)Experience with databases, such as SQL, NoSQL, etc.(plus) Experience in accessibility and compliance(plus) Strong understanding of WCAG and ARIA(plus) IAAP certification(Note: At TestParty we value a growth mindset.
