As a Systems Engineer - Platform Engineer, you will collaborate with multiple project teams to design and produce reusable infrastructure and software components. You will play a crucial role in developing robust, scalable solutions using modern infrastructure as code and DevOps tools, aimed at enhancing application resilience, reducing costs, and accelerating delivery to mission customers.Active security clearance with full scope polygraph required.
Responsibilities:Design and implement reusable software solutions and business processes using industry-standard infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps tools.Utilize cloud-native tools to build and maintain infrastructure supporting large, user-facing applications in AWS.Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Helm.Debug and optimize applications written in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby on Linux platforms.Manage relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and document databases (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr), including managed services like AWS RDS or OpenSearch.Provide tier 3 support and perform root cause analysis for application and infrastructure failures.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment using Git-based workflows.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with
3+ years of experience for senior level ,
8+ years for expert level , or
