Seeking an associate attorney to join a personal injury practice litigating cases at all stages from initial client intake through trial in both state and federal court.Primary Responsibilities
Handle initial client intake, pre-suit claims practice and settlement negotiations.Prepare legal documents including, without limitation, pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, orders and other court filings in both state and federal court.Prepare for and appear at depositions of client, adverse parties, witnesses and experts.Prepare for and appear in court for motion hearings, non-jury trials and jury trials.What To Bring (Job Requirements)
Currently licensed to practice in South CarolinaAt least 3-5 years proven working experience in civil litigation (Personal injury experience preferred)Experience In S.C. State Courts And Preferably Federal CourtExcellent communication, time management and organization skillsExcellent Research, Analytical And Written Communication SkillsStrong character and work ethicAbility to manage a large case load
