NS2 Mission is seeking a Full-Stack Developer (front end & back end technical skills) to directly support application enhancement and functionality. The successful candidate will be responsible for software development, creation of scripts, and creating and maintaining automated deployment and testing software. The developer will provide support for the application, address user reported bugs, and respond to application inquiries. The developer must possess excellent communication skills and be adept at communicating effectively with key stakeholders, mission partners and power users to understand and respond requirements and needs. The developer must be able to work well independently and within the team.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience12+ years of experience with full stack development using any of the common object oriented or functional languages (Java, Python, Scala, C++, JavaScript)Demonstrated experience with UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Node.js, ElmDemonstrated hand-on experience with distributed cross-platform applications, orchestration, and securityDemonstrated experience of a basic understanding of cloud architecture of at least one major cloud service provider and familiarity with deploying applications in a cloud environmentDemonstrated experience of software quality process/assurance including automation testing, unit/integration testing, design/code review, code profiling and software continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelinesDemonstrated experience with relational, noSQL, and/or graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Git, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)Demonstrated experience in Web server technologies (Tomcat, Web Logic, IIS, HttpCore)Familiarity with LDAP/Active DirectoryFamiliarity with in-memory databasesExperience working in an Agile scrum teamwork environmentPosition Clearance Requirement:
