Database Administrator/SQL DeveloperSunbelt’s Database Administrator/SQL Developer is equipped for success so we can make it happen for our customers.The Database Administrator/SQL Developer is empowered by Sunbelt Rentals to act as administrator, SQL developer, and technical communicator. This role plans, coordinates, develops, and manages databases, including database definition, structure, documentation, requirements, operational guidelines and protection. This role will work with the Sunbelt Rentals software engineering teams on database development for internal applications. A major component for the role is to ensure accurate and the completeness of data, as well as establish and maintain security/integrity controls. Additionally, the DBA/SQL Developer formulates, and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management, administers physical servers and identifies and resolves performance issues.Education or experience that prepares you for success:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant engineering field or equivalent work experience7+ years of experience in IT database administration and architectureKnowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
Database design, programming, installation and configuration, optimization, and troubleshootingSQL Server 2014 and above, T-SQL, Integration Services (SSIS)SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)C#, ASP.net, and the .Net FrameworkMicrosoft Azure a plusSafety is key to our culture:
