A premier San Diego-based legal firm is actively seeking a dedicated Civil Litigation Attorney to enhance their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of robust civil litigation experience, with a strong preference for attorneys who have plaintiff experience. The firm is dedicated to providing justice to underrepresented individuals, ensuring every case is handled with the utmost integrity and dedication. Pay Range: $110, 000 - $135, 000 / year DOE
Civil Litigation Attorney Requirements
3-5 years of civil litigation experienceJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited universityExperience with billable hours;minimum 1800 billable hours annuallyStrong academic background, preferably from reputable law schoolsMust be barred in the state of CaliforniaStrong writing skills and attention to detail are imperativeTeam-oriented and open to learning with a hardworking and persevering attitudeExperience in personal injury, employment law, or similar fields is preferredPlaintiff litigation experience is highly desired
Civil Litigation Attorney Responsibilities
Handle all phases of litigation for auto fraud cases, overseeing them from start to finishTake charge of drafting complaints and filing them with the appropriate courtsCollaborate with a team consisting of a Senior Attorney and Junior Attorney for each caseDevelop and execute case plans, ensuring effective implementation and progressConduct discovery, arbitrations, depositions, and law motionsUtilize our internal resources, which include case studies and collective experience, to strengthen legal strategies
