Red Ventures Red Digital team is looking for a motivated and driven Mid-Level, Full Stack Engineer to join the team! The ideal candidate will have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), developing cloud-native solutions, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. This person will interact with people at all levels and collaborate with teams across a geographically diverse company. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. This individual will contribute to promoting a collaborative and communicative culture as a partner of Engineering product teams by assisting with enablement processes, automation, and tooling to improve productivity, mitigate risk, and achieve reliability at scale.
What You'll Do
Work within a high-performing platform/cloud team that embraces the DevOps philosophy.Participate in the planning, design, and development of cloud-based applications.Collaborate with cloud development teams to identify and implement suitable cloud-based solutions.Assist in architecting and building continuous delivery automated pipelines for a suite of microservices.Contribute to creating and managing the engineering build and deployment process across environments.Participate in team improvement initiatives and projects, including testing tools, process improvements, and test automation to enhance security, reliability, maintainability, availability, and performance.Review application logs and assist in responding to errors in our internal tools.Contribute ideas to optimize build times and speed up feedback loops.Support the setup, maintenance, and administration of software build and deployment methods and tools.Provide input on development methodologies to continually improve production practices and efficiency.Assist in maintaining our internal developer platform and facilitate the expansion of its functionality as business needs evolve.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of software development experienceKnowledge of AWS development, configuration, and deploymentExperience with source control management practices and tools, preferably Git.Experience with infrastructure as code technologies, preferably Terraform.Experience with Agile methodologies and an iterative development cycle.Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environmentsExperience with applications running on Linux hosts and containerized environments.Familiarity with software and server deployments in an open-source ecosystem.Strong scripting skills (i.e., Go, Bash, Python, Javascript) with the ability to develop ad hoc tools.Understanding of DevOps best practices in an always-up, always-available environment.
Compensation
Cash Compensation Range: $100,000-$150,000*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
