Software Engineer - Merchant Acquiring and Servicing Technology

Location: Phoenix, AZ | Charlotte, NC | Irving, TX

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and UX designers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Support the design, architecture, development, and integration of Merchant Payment Servicing and Operations platforms, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and user experience objectives.Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of the Merchant Acquiring Servicing platform, optimizing performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience.Work with stakeholders to understand user feedback and iterate on product enhancements, ensuring throughput and SLA requirements for payments.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of engineering experience, demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.Proven experience in software development, with a focus on building servicing experiences using a digital-first architecture mindset.Strong expertise in leading the design and build of micro front-end architecture and React UI components.Solid understanding of hybrid cloud technologies (Azure, Google), microservices architecture, and API integrations.

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with Merchant Acquiring, payment gateways, PCI, credit decisioning, risk and fraud management, funding, settlement, reconciliation, reporting, case management, IVR, Point of Sale (POS) configuration, and device integration.Good working experience with Pega BPM, React UI, Java J2EE, Kafka, Azure components, and third-party integrations.Understanding of design patterns and best practices.Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a track record of delivering projects on time.Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
