If you’re ready to apply your exceptional skills to create the factory of the future, we’d love to speak with you.ABOUT THE ROLEDevOps Engineer at Bright Machines collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, build, deploy, manage, and optimize highly-available, fault-tolerant and secure cloud-connected industrial automation solutions.This is an exciting opportunity to work with R&D teams designing & building end-to-end complex automation solutions for modern factories. Our integrated solution consists of on-prem equipment like full network stack (with switches, routers, firewalling) and bastion hosts that uplink to Cloud and software applications running on-prem and in the Cloud to operate and monitor the robotic assembly lines.You will work directlywith R&D, Software Engineering, and IT teams to develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.Our software is designed to be cloud native with the ability to deploy both on-cloud and on-prem.Your expertise will be pivotal in developing and operating our stack, which includes: AWS and Azure as Cloud providers, Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code, Docker and Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD and GitOps practicesWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Design & build infrastructure, develop tools and champion industry standard best-practices to establish a strong DevOps cultureDesign, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for running applications and automation systemsAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and KubernetesDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and continuous delivery of software updatesImplement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems, for troubleshooting and ensuring high availability & reliability of the servicesEnsure compliance with security policies and best practices, including vulnerability management and incident responseAble to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for tools you and your team buildWHAT WE WANT TO SEE
5+ years of experience in DevOps roleProven track-record of building & maintaining Cloud Infrastructure for mission critical SaaS applications / servicesExperience with CI/CD tools and GitOps methodologiesExperienced writing code in Pythonand Shell scripts on LinuxExpertise in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible etc.)Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes & containerization tools.Experience with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana)IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD
Experience with more recent forms of CI/CD pipelines: MLOps and DevSecOpsExperience supporting a developer base on MacOS and Windows, in addition to Linux$130,000 - $180,000 a year
