This is a full-time, benefited position working under the direction of the City Attorney or a Deputy City Attorney. This position is responsible for the prosecution of violations of all municipal ordinances and state law misdemeanors and infractions. Prosecutors will investigate, screen and prepare cases for trial by examining documents, case law, evidence, correspondence, etc.QualificationsGraduation from accredited law schoolCertification of admission to Bar of the State of UtahEligibility to practice law before courts of State of Utah and the United States District CourtPay and BenefitsThe current salary range for Prosecutors is $88,377 - 132,566 Annually. Individual starting salary will depend on qualifications, certifications, and experience. This is an FLSA-exempt position.
