Position Overview:Title: Vice President (VP), GM of PaymentsLocation: Remote / Tampa, FLThe GM – VP of Payments, reporting directly to the CEO, will be responsible for the strategic direction, revenue growth, product strategies and overall success of our payment solutions. This role will focus on vCard adoption, emerging new electronic payment monetization strategies, optimizing payment pricing and bundling, enhancing customer rebate strategies, and supplier adoption strategies. The ideal candidate will also lead internal sales enablement efforts, boost the adoption of payments within our Accounts Payable (AP) solution, and reinvigorate Accounts Receivable (AR) payment sales for both existing and new customers. Additionally, this role will explore and implement supplier monetization strategies.Key Responsibilities:Program Ownership & Strategic DirectionOwn revenue responsibility for monetization of the payment streams related to vCard Adoption and other electronic payment revenuesDrive the adoption of vCards and ensure the overall success of payment revenue.Develop and implement strategies to increase usage and maximize revenue from payment solutions.Support the sales teams’ efforts on sales/demos and customer objection handling.Work closely with supplier optimization team on execution of supplier strategies.Manage and work with existing payment partners to establish internal governance process over new and existing partners.Electronic Payment Monetization Strategies:Research and develop new electronic payment monetization strategies, including float products, instant pay, and dynamic discounting.Innovate and identify opportunities to enhance and diversify revenue streams.Develop strategic relationships with technology partners, banks, payment providersPayments Pricing and Bundling Strategy:Develop and implement pricing and bundling strategies for payment solutions.Ensure competitive pricing models that drive adoption and profitability.Design and execute effective customer rebate strategies.Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote and implement rebate programs.Lead efforts to enable internal sales teams and increase the adoption of payment solutions with Accounts Payable (AP).Provide training, resources, and support to enhance sales effectiveness.Future Initiatives:Reinvigorate AR payments sales for existing customers and attract new customers.Develop and implement supplier monetization strategies to unlock new revenue opportunities.Qualifications:Proven experience in a payments product leadership role, preferably within a B2B Payments or FinTech SaaS company.In-depth knowledge of accounts payable solutions is a major plus.Demonstrated experience with strategic leadership and working closely with executive teams.Strong background in product GTM strategies, marketing and sales strategies pertaining to payment adoption and monetization.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and execute independently.
