Description

The Precision Health Platform is at the core of research and care: it underpins software to support clinical research studies and registries, Verily’s virtual care management products, and digital biomarkers. Based on Cloud architecture and FHIR, the platform comprises foundational services to accelerate the development and connection of our products. This enables the Verily research and care products to be interoperable, consistent, and allows us to launch to market faster with greater impact.

The Multimodal Data Product Manager will drive cross-organizational initiatives to store and manage new data modalities in the Precision Health Platform, including sensors, imaging and genomics. They will define the vision and value for new data modalities, and own the roadmap for the data infrastructure needed to generate new insights from different types of data. In this role, they will work closely with engineering and data science to develop the technical architecture to manage and analyze non-text healthcare data.

Responsibilities

Own the vision, roadmap, and requirements across the full product lifecycle for Verily’s multimodal data platform infrastructure.Define the product strategy for new data modalities based on their value in prioritized healthcare applications.Work with a team of Engineers to envision and build the pipelines, storage systems and governance capabilities for new data modalities in the Precision Health Platform.Partner with Verily Devices and Solutions Product Managers to identify new use cases for existing multimodal data.Work with Data Science to enable the development of new insights from additional data modalities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of Product Management experience in developing data or software platforms.Experience working with at least two of the following data types: sensors, genomics, imaging data.Experience with data warehousing, ETL, data visualization, and similar technologies.Proven track record of building, launching and iterating infrastructure or data-centric products in regulated markets.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders on product delivery (Product Management, Product Design, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data Science).Experience with data architecture and migration projects.Experience in healthcare, health research, life sciences, or similar industries.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $184,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
