Position SummaryThe Product Manager drives the product to meet A&K USA's overall strategy and commercial sales goals. This includes contracting, negotiating, managing the product lifecycle, and working with internal and external partners to research, develop, and deliver creative and innovative products that exceed revenue targets and quality goals. Additionally, the Product Manager participates in all phases of operating private jet and special interest travel programs, including but not limited to, ensuring the accuracy of guest pre-departure documents as well as destination programs, creating operations manuals, and reviewing post-tour feedback for product and experience improvements. This role requires a high level of commitment and resilience.Responsibilities And AccountabilitiesManage assigned products to achieve revenue and yield goalsLead product research, design, development, and pricing to ensure appropriate product positioning, profitability, and quality.Negotiate favorable contracts with all vendors with itemized costs.Perform ongoing competitive monitoring; raise issues and recommendations to improve products.Ensure Product Standards are met.Continue to improve and develop unique, as well as insider access experiences.Organize and manage product strategy meetings to finalize product itinerary, carrier and hotel selection, and inventory/cost goals.Procure inventory required to meet revenue/sales goals.Partner with RSC sales trainer to develop and internally deliver detailed destination, product, price, and date information to other departments to drive key deadlines and promote sales.Recommend new product opportunities that will ensure A&K’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.Ensure product operation within defined budgets.Develop vendor relationships through communication, site visits, and participation in destination/trade functions as appropriate.Assist in procurement of private jet tour staff with the goal of building and developing a highly professional and functional team to lead A&K private jet programs.Oversee the development of accurate and detailed Operations Manuals for private jet programs.Ensure deliverables are timely and accurate to meet the established marketing lead time.Ensure Product Quality and Guest Feedback Meet or Exceed Company GoalsReview Guest Questionnaires, identify issues, and develop action plans to address them.Assemble performance data and monitor variances to budgetary goals.Proof all product and marketing-related information and ensure products are accurately positioned.Educate staff and vendors on A&K’s standard operating requirements.Ensure DMCs, suppliers/vendors understand and fulfill all necessary product requirements and arrangements per A&K’s Private Jet or client’s product standards.Travel as necessary to scout destinations, inspect product inclusions, meet with suppliers/vendors, etc, to ensure product quality and delivery standards.Travel as necessary in advance of guests’ arrival into assigned destinations to ensure preparedness in accordance with operating requirements.Ensure that Expense Reports are prepared and submitted to Finance in a timely fashion.Skills And AbilitiesStrong leader who thrives with new challenges and champions growth.Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and a collaborative perspective.Skilled in budgeting, P&L analysis, contract negotiation, program logistics and operations, and team management.Skilled in verbal and written communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and workload management.Strong knowledge of World Geography.Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Applications.Education And ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in a business discipline preferred and/or equivalent related industry experience.Proven experience in product management and program logistics and operations in the travel and/or hospitality industries.Proven experience in product development, tour construction, and costing.Special RequirementsMust maintain a valid passportAbility to travel frequently and, sometimes, with little advance notice and for extended periods of timeAttendance at after-hours trade functions and site inspections
