Job Overview:
A law firm in Hollywood, FL, seeks a skilled First-Party Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in first-party/property coverage matters. The ideal candidate will handle a caseload involving insurance disputes, focusing on representing policyholders in first-party claims.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in first-party insurance claims.Manage all aspects of litigation from inception through trial or settlement.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences as required.Collaborate with partners and associates on complex cases and strategic planning.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida State Bar in good standing.2-5 years of demonstrated experience in first-party/property coverage litigation.Strong understanding of insurance law and regulations, particularly in Florida.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Certifications (Preferred):Board Certification in Insurance Law by The Florida Bar (or similar).Skills:Litigation experience with a focus on insurance disputes.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.Negotiation and mediation skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Team player with a collaborative approach.Competitive pay commensurate with experience.Performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage.401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution.Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.Company infoBCG Attorney Search801 Brickell Avenue, Suite 900MiamiFloridaUnited States 33131Phone :
