The Central West Justice Center, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Community Legal Aid, provides free legal help to low-income and elderly residents of central and western Massachusetts. Our advocates focus on cases involving humanitarian-based immigration law, employment rights, housing and homelessness issues, and access to public benefits.Position:Central West Justice Center (CWJC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Community LegalAid, seeks attorneys to join a vibrant, talented team that provides legal assistance in arange of humanitarian-based immigration law matters, including but not limited to removaldefense, VAWA petitions, U and T visas, SIJS petitions, and asylum cases. The attorneys,who will be based in CWJC’s Worcester and/or Springfield offices, may also participate ina grant-funded legal clinic for immigrants in partnership with a local Methodist Church.The attorneys will engage in critically important community outreach, includingcommunity consultation sessions and know-your-rights trainings, and will assist in thepreparation of periodic grant reports. These are full-time positions, although part-timehours are negotiable.

Qualifications:Admission to Mass. Bar, or eligible to sit for next Mass.
