As a member of the high performance computing (HPC) group you will work with cross-business and cross-functional teams to apply your skills and experience to our critical missions. You will learn and apply new advanced tools and engage in the development and support of advanced HPC software and hardware mission capabilities.
Education Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
Clearance Requirements
Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire . Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a software engineer for the High Performance Computing Group, you'll be a member of a cross functional team developing and supporting mission applications.

Technical and problem-solving skills in advanced computing systems, hardware, software, mathematics, physics, or end-mission applications and support, with an understanding of how those capabilities fit into the bigger product / service offering.Expertise in applying technology and technical skills to solve challenges in creative ways.Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.Energized by the diverse software and computer engineering problem sets of HPC.A willing and effective collaborator, with team members, customers and general technical counterparts.Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with previous experience in Assembly, C/C++, Python, Rust, Embedded Linux or others.Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or advanced computing / embedded systems.Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
