Decisions is seeking a Product Manager to join our team! This role is to help us deliver important new product innovations in a highly efficient and fast-paced way. The Product Manager plays a crucial role in driving Decisions product vision and strategy. You will be the first Product Manager that we hire, on a rapidly growing team!

A great candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time with customers to understand their problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market. You must also be the driving force behind the execution of that vision, working cross-functionally with the Marketing, Decisions Developers, Sales, Support, and Professional Services team members and potentially the User-Experience design resources who will help aid in transforming the product vehicle that you support.

This position requires extensive experience in Product Management, knowledge of technical product BPA technologies, and the ability to take on various responsibilities to support the organization's growth and strategic initiatives.

This position is on-site at our HQ in Virginia Beach, VA.

Key ObjectivesObjective #1: Drive Technical Expertise and Delivery for their Product Vehicle:Product Strategy; define the product vision, goals, and roadmap for the specific product in Decisions. Develop a clear value proposition and target audience for the API products.Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle; Create project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources to meet project goals.Oversee and manage various strategic initiatives, such as evaluating the team's existing tools, supporting any process improvement along the way, and managing building committee meetings.Define testing processes and collaborate with QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability within Decisions - conduct testing, monitor for issues, and implement improvements as needed.

Objective #2: Strategically Build out the Consumer and Market Research to Inform Key Product Decisions:Strong consumer product and user experience instincts - you have a knack for understanding what people want and making an experience meet and exceed their expectations.Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about the fintech industry, including market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies - identify opportunities for API-based products and services.Independently seek and evaluate data insights, use key metrics to inform decisions, and partner with RevOps to define necessary analysis.

Objective #3: Lead and Coordinate Cross-Functional Communication to Drive Organizational and Operational Efficiency:Collaborate with the executive team to prioritize and execute key business initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.Manage and streamline internal communication processes, ensuring effective information flow and timely dissemination of critical updates.Proactively manage upwards to drive projects forward without the need for constant oversight - set goals and pursue them diligently, ensuring alignment with team and company objectives.Run efficient and effective betas, quickly adapt to quantitative and qualitative results, and actively share learnings across teams and leadership.Managing product life cycle including enhancements and updates. Performance monitoring to identify product success and failures (efficient KPI tracking).

Requirements5+ years of enterprise software product management experience.Must have extensive knowledge and work experience in the Insurance industry.Practical product experience across customer insights, product strategy and planning, execution, data-driven outcomes, and leadership.Exceptional experience communicating with cross-functional teams, particularly executive teams.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal clients and stakeholders.Ability to draw clarity out of complex and ever-changing environments; comfortable working through ambiguity.PMP and / or Agile-focused certifications.
