As Lakera’s first Business Development Representative , you’ll be joining a startup with the best name recognition in a market that’s growing at unprecedented speed and is vastly under-served.

What You’ll Do
Generate new business opportunities by prospecting, researching, and outbounding into cold accounts and warm leadsConvert a healthy stream of inbound leads across multiple channelsShare an informed perspective regarding Ideal Customer Profiles, target personas, messaging and product market fit to drive qualified lead generation and conversionDevelop and experiment with highly tailored and personalized messaging to book meetings with target personasEffectively communicate the value products to potential customersKeep our CRM system up to date with the most current and accurate informationAlign and collaborate on valuable market insights and feedback with stakeholders across sales, product, and marketingAchieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas of qualified opportunitiesShadow Sales calls and meetings
What You’ll Bring
1-2 years of Business Development Representative experience in a SaaS company - Bonus if you have experience selling security and or technical products to CISOsExperience building pipelines across Startups, Mid-Market, and/or Enterprise segments via LinkedIn, email, cold calling, and in-person touchesExperience with experimentation using learnings from strong inbound demand and existing pipelinesFamiliarity with tools like SFDC, Hubspot, Outreach, Linkedin Sales NavigatorExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with team members and external partnersProcess oriented, organized, and able to work well in unstructured environments
Location: San Francisco.
Logistics: Hybrid with 2-3 days/ week in the office. We’re excited about candidates who want to contribute to our in-office culture.

Compensation and Benefits: Our total compensation package is a blend of salary, equity and benefits.
We are committed to paying fairly and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market rates. Equity - On top of this position's compensation, equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higher-than-average equity compensation for a company of our size and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.
